Amber
Booth
Amber was born and lives in London. Her Art studio is based in Alperton in Brent (North West London). It's situated on the Grand Union Canal with lovely views of the canal and all the activity of the waterways.

Within Amber's practice she is interested in interpreting moods and atmospheres in abstract and visual ways, exploring and capturing ephemeral and untangible moments. She takes her inspiration from nature and the environment, creating a space for contemplation and reflection.
She uses many unconventional materials in her paintings including found and disused household/domestic building products.
"The use of discarded and reclaimed materials is an important element of my practice. There is something transgressive and cathartic about using these materials, giving them a new lease of life and purpose within a reimagined context."
Amber' also uses photography to explore the world around her finding inspiration from the interaction of the natural environment with that of the man-made.
'I enjoying capturing the ambiguity of form. I use no trickery of special effect, but focus on framing and isolating, finding elements to explore. I hope to encourage the viewer to look at our world through a different lens."
